Darko and Byrd Tennis Academy is a junior tennis academy offering year-long daytime and evening programs for juniors of all abilities — from beginners to advanced, and elite players looking to play high school, collegiate and professional tennis. We are passionate about our team’s drive, skill, and sportsmanship and have produced several players for colleges all over the United States. DBTA offers a systematic coaching method in an energetic, enjoyable environment with a range of programs customizable to individual players, their goals, and their needs.
Darko Byrd

Charles Byrd
Coach Charles was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He was consistently ranked in the top ten of the Southern section and top 50 nationally.
Whitney Byrd
Whitney has played tennis for 18 years and has experience on all levels: southern, nationally, internationally, professionally, and collegiately.
Henry Darko
Coach Henry is a professional tennis player from Ghana with an ATP high ranking of 275. His accomplishments include several Davis Cup and more.
Derryck Clay
Coach Derryck, a native of the Bronx, NY, began his tennis coaching career in Atlanta in 1999 as a coaching assistant and has coached many competitive players.
